Richard A. Weidel, Jr., Ric, obtained his real estate salesperson license in 1975 prior to attending Morrisville State College in New York, a unit of the State University of New York (SUNY). After graduation, he enrolled in Temple University’s Business Administration program and joined Weidel Real Estate full-time in 1979.
In 1987, Ric took over as President/COO of Weidel Real Estate. During his tenure, corporate services and comprehensive training was established to enable growth of the company’s geographic sphere. Corporate relocation, pre-licensing school (Princeton School of Real Estate Inc.), Mortgage Lending Business (Princeton Mortgage Corporation), a general liability and title insurance business (Princeton Assurance Corporation), and real estate investment division were added.
Ric was designated as a Real Estate School Director in 1982. He obtained his Real Estate Broker License in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and Mortgage Banker License in 1982. Ric has been a speaker for numerous real estate forums throughout his career. Outside of the real estate services business, Ric has life-long been engaged in agribusiness known as Broad Oak Farm. He has been actively involved in land preservation, residing on his farm in historic Harbourton, New Jersey.
